1 – What are the predictions for the sector given a possible upturn in the Portuguese economy?

1 – I think that the macro has increasingly less influence on the micro. Companies cannot stop just because oil is at 50 dollars. I envisage a positive prospect for Portugal and Spain for 2005.


2 – The argument for talent searching is work experience. Companies seek suitable work experience and when interviewing individuals with this factor we also seek attitude and suitable ‘soft skills’. In methodological terms, a search team is required for us to reach the right people and for us to structure people who are “good in the role”, people with suitable CVs. They are interviewed by consultants to see whether they have what the client wants and then the client is given a short list from which the client chooses the candidate(s).
